Your information, kept safe

Last updated October 2026

Shifthappenshub is Doella’s practice in New Zealand. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you book, why, where it is stored, and your rights under the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020.

What we collect

  • When you book: your name, email, mobile number, the treatment you choose, any add-ons, whether it’s your first visit, weeks of pregnancy (pregnancy massage only) and any notes you add.
  • When you send a message: your name, email, optional mobile number, the service you’re interested in and your message.
  • When you browse: if you accept analytics cookies, anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type) via Google Tag Manager. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

Please don’t send detailed health information through the website. Doella will ask about your health privately at your first session, and keeps those notes securely and confidentially, as health information under the Code.

Why we use it

To arrange and confirm your appointment, send reminders, reply to your enquiries, and provide a safe, appropriate treatment. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Where it goes

  • Cal.com: bookings and reminders.
  • NexusReach Forms: messages sent through the contact form.
  • Google Tag Manager / Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies.

Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand. We use them because they protect information to standards comparable to the Privacy Act.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for seven years for tax purposes. Health notes are kept for at least ten years after your last appointment, as required for health records in New Zealand. Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact Doella on 020 4112 0181. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
